Radium the Hedgehog

Finally got my little hedgehog character up. This is Radium, and if you're thinking he's a radioactive hedgehog, well you're right. I have a background story of him but it's not finalized (yet). Only tidbits of information I can give you are these: has Radiation-based blast attacks, he has to recharge occasionally in order to stay conscious; by recharging, he absorbs radiation from radioactive elements. He can also heal, too! His stripes are a very faded green, but they're that faded because they glow in the dark.

If you're wondering why the stripes on his forehead and arms look a little funny, they kind of look a little like watch hands, right? Well, radium (the element) used to be used in illuminating watch faces. As for Radium's healing aspect, radium (the element) is used in radiation therapy for treating cancer patients.

I know the design isn't the best; the four things that I struggle with the most are hands, proportions, heads and feet. Proportions I don't think I had a problem with on this once because I never realized how easy Sonic characters are to draw. And yes I know he doesn't have any clothes; I know a lot of Sonic fans put clothes on their fan characters, but I've always known Sonic characters (male ones) to not be clothed other than their gloves and shoes, and I guess that's how I'll keep Radium (for now, I may come up with an outfit for him later on down the road).
